We always hear about the 'joy of childbirth,' or that 'our lives are never really complete until we have kids,' or some other melodramatic, misty eyed musings from parents, new and weathered. Granted, children can truly be a gift, but take it from me, I've got five nieces/nephews and at least one of those kids is a legitimate sociopathic monster. So basically you've got a 1/5 chance of birthing a murderer, that's all I'm saying! Further, what people don't often understand, unless they themselves have been pregnant (or on the flip side, impregnated someone and then spent the next nine months paying dearly for it), is that there are all kinds of little daily struggles that go hand in hand with being preggers! From hormone issues to garment struggles, from cravings to shavings, these are things that only the pregnant or pregnant sympathetic will understand. Luckily for us, illustrator/animator Line Severinsen decided to quite literally draw us a picture of what it's like in the day to day struggle of a pregnant woman!.........
