The problem – cyst removal.
Dr. Sandra Lee is all ready with her tools and camera for filming the pimple popping procedure.
The cyst
The cyst that was supposed to be removed was called Epidermoid cyst. And that patient’s name was Erin.
The tool
Dr. Lee used a punch biopsy tool to remove the cyst. This tool is often used when a sample of the skin is required for biopsy.
Squeezing
Dr. Lee punched a hole into the skin over cyst and began applying pressure on both sides to squeeze it out.
The Pus
On applying continuous pressure on all sides, the pus was easily removed from the skin. And yes of course it was disgusting and a lot.
The sac
The sac is the part which produces the pus. So unless you remove that, the pus will never stop. So Dr. Lee used her tools to remove the sac.
Almost like having a baby
You know how you push and apply pressure and then pull the baby out? Dr. Lee used the same techniques for the cyst sac. Ew right?!
The hole
The sac and pus removal left a hole at the end which Dr. Lee was able to seal.
