Snakes are fascinating, and owing them seems like a cool idea but not for everyone. Large snakes like boa constrictors, anaconda’s and pythons are legally kept as “pets” throughout US. These powerful wild animals are capable of killing their caretaker and their ownership is incredibly a sensitive issue. This incredible photograph has sparked debate and confusion across the Internet, which was taken to show snake body after having a human-sized meal. The general consensus is that “snake’s food is human.”

This is what happened with the girl when she gets closer to her pet, the story goes viral over Internet and has deter many people from purchasing large snakes as pets. We all are pet lovers and keep them closer to us even when they grow up. This lady takes her python to sleep daily. Does she want reptile therapy? Every night, her snake would curl up, snuggling up in a way she never expected.

The days turned into a week, she got tensed and took her python to Dr. Doolittle. The vet asks, “Does your snake sleeps with you at night, wraps around you or very close and spread out throughout its length?”. “Yes! Yes! It does it every day and it makes me so sad because I see something asking of me, and I cannot help it feel better,” the woman replied.

The woman received a shocking answer, “Madam, your python is not sick, it is preparing to eat you. Every time, it is creeping and hugging you, wrapping around your body, it is checking size to weigh how great meal you are for him and how it must be prepared for the attack.”

Hugs and kisses are not always pure and honest. You’ll have to recognize the way your pet is behaving correctly. Just because they seem closer to you and sleep with you in your bed, doesn’t mean they are having good intentions for you. The same applies to your close ones; friends, families and relatives around.

There are almost 2,800 different kinds of snakes in the world and their number changes as more are discovered. But not all of them are safe to be kept as pets. The most commonly kept snake species are in families of Colubridae, Boidae and Pythonidae. I hope you will consider this before buying a snake.
